Ka-wenu by V4m2c4 Ka-wenu by V4m2c4
The Ka-wenu.

Males display a color dimorphism amongst one another and are adorned with two "tails" which they use in their mating rituals. Not particularly strong flyers they use a fly/glide form of locomotion. Their brooding involves the symbiotic relationship with U-watsi males, using their large dual dorsal fins as the their nesting sight.

(slightly different from their original debut in the U-watsi picture, but still happy with the design.)

Very cool! The head design kind of reminds me of an Oviraptor :)

I love those colors:), very tropical looking. Wait a sec, do Ka-wenu live in the tropics? :? Color was always one of the hard parts for me, not in picking the colors, just in trying to figure out where they should go. So you can imagine the aww I have for these, the colors are bright and compliment each other, like the head, I love the head.

Being a fellow creature creator(just not one with your talent) I love to see what amazing animals people come up with. I've always loved flying animals and I gota say: these are one of the best.

I thought so, since most animals with BRIGHT colors live in the tropics.

Thanks for liking some of my concepts, I'm not really good at anatomy though, so they aren't really detailed. I know the main shape and look I want but I don't know where to put all the lines to show all the mussels. I do have very detailed stuff, I just haven't submitted them yet(actually most of the stuff I've submitted are pretty old) but even then they are all just line are and colored pencil.
