medium sized, nocturnal herding creatures thats survival depends on complete silence. Yet when provocked or cornered they release a bioluminous film, from specialized organs on the sides of it head, as a way to disorient predators both visually and olfactory. The tiny boney protrusions that run down its spine also create a deafening rattle cause a sensory overload for any predatory, or any other creature near a stampede.
The film/plasma, is a high protein secretion, and also provides nutrients for flora and fauna, but is only used as a last ditch effort to escape predators as it is a costly substance to release.
no problem, whenever I use my phone or iPad DA drops messages from me too. It would be an honor to have you Just let me know a planet name, and I’ll set it up for you on the star map and make a folder for you. Or, if you'd rather just help someone else with a planet, check out the Collaboration Spreadsheet in the "Database and Starmaps" folder. Creature art is coming quite in demand these days
thanks!! it was just poetic writing. They don't have to be any more quiet than a heard of impala. But being prey animals, demure and quiet is a better way to survive than loud and flashy. But if spotted they have a couple of defenses in their arsenal.
