cancri tank by V4m2c4 cancri tank by V4m2c4
this is my attempt at the awesome CGhub's creature forge challenge.( I need to play around with it some more to better fit the guidelines )
anatomical/diagrammatical illustration of the Cancri Tank. Completely blind the creature relies on scent and infrasound. females are exceptionally larger than males and are shelled. Males become permanent and sole residents of their female. Parasitic to the female he will live in her birthing chamber, feeding on bacteria, parasites and her blood. A males sole purpose is to find a female not only to procreate but also for protection as its body is not capable o withstanding the extreme temperatures.

Wow... I have to say that I don't like bugs! Having said that, if your Cancri Tank had some hair it would be a lot icky-er.

You have drawn an area near the shell that is amber in color and resembles turtle skin, that is very pretty.

very good.

question - is the pink thing one of hte males? (and the other is that yellow-armed and yellow-crested thing inside the female?)

bravo!

thanks! no the pink thing is a prey item. the male is the yellow armed creature. Yes he lives inside her her birthing chamber. so hes not literally "inside" her but lives in her shell.
